Eyal Chipkiewicz

CERTIFIED TRANSLATOR & INTERPRETER

Based in Brisbane, Australia, I am a NAATI Certified Interpreter and NAATI Certified Translator (Spanish>English). I can provide certified translations of legal documents for visa applications, migration and other proceedings, as well as business translations, subtitles and captions, interpreting, proof-reading and document layout.

I have professional experience in multiple fields including engineering, entrepreneurship, business & management, design & marketing, events, community development, and the not-for-profit sector.

I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, and have lived in Glasgow, Edinburgh, New York, Jerusalem, Miami and Melbourne.

Apart from my work as a translator and interpreter, I am dedicated to driving cultural development initiatives that bring people together to collaborate and address social issues collectively and creatively. The arts and creative industries are at the core of my efforts.

I am the producer for the Brisbane Multicultural Arts Centre (BEMAC), and lead a not-for-profit organisation called Casa Cultura that exists to harness the power of the arts as a tool for social change. I also co-coordinate a literary collective called A Voz Limpia, with whom I have edited, translated and published 14 books to date.
